Sebastian Koseda- A Solo Exhibition
Sat May 1- Sun 30th 2027
Sat May 1st exhibition opening 2-8pm, 6-8pm Vermouth opening reception.
The exhibition will feature new work.
Sebastian Koseda is an artist and designer whose work explores the social, political and cultural consequences of technological change. Working across installation, graphic design and speculative futures, his practice examines the shifting relationship between people, machines and the systems that shape contemporary life.
Koseda graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2015. His debut solo exhibition, Silk to Silicon (BACKLIT Gallery, 2022), explored automation and the legacy of the Luddites, while Fully Detached (2023-24) turned to Britain’s housing crisis, hostile architecture and urban displacement.
Alongside his artistic practice, Koseda is Creative Director of Studio Koseda, working across art, design and technology. His projects and collaborations have included the Royal College of Art, Somerset House, Science Gallery London and Google DeepMind. He has also led the visual identity for the Royal College of Art graduate show for four consecutive years.
Across both commissioned and self-initiated work, Sebastian Koseda uses the visual language of technology and design to question ideas of progress - who benefits from it, who is displaced by it, and what happens when systems designed to serve us begin to reshape the way we live.
